*My transcription can be used in addition to the one submitted by Mike
Duncan (mduncan@ag.Arizona.EDU).  My transcription has a little more
detail, but putting Mike's and mine together will probably give everyone a
more complete picture of how to play this song.  There is also bass tab

The bass notes are played by the bass guitar, and the rhythm guitar and
organ play out the corresponding full major or minor chords written above
the tab.  The treble part consists of unison bends* played by the lead
guitar.

* when playing a unison bend, two notes are played, and the lower of the
two is bent up to match the pitch of the higher one.  The higher one is not

I did my best to get rid of some of the compression artifacts, and fix the color. Please let me know if anybody else has a better sourced video.

Allman Brothers - Whipping Post - 3/31/07-Beacon Theatre NYC
Whipping Post from this night during the annual Beacon run. I shot this from the 3rd row. Theres a bit of shaking in the first 30 seconds as I had to get to an unimpeded spot. It is also cut in 2 places to fit the youtube 10minute max. Derek just shined and tore up this version. He absolutely scorched it and was smoking this night.
