(HD) Glenn Quinn Tribute - "How to Save a Life"
A warning to anyone thinking of leaving negative / disrespectful comments about Glenn, his memory, family, friends or fans on my video: I will be monitoring VIGILANTLY. Haters will be shot. Survivors will be shot again. Thank you for your cooperation, badgirl ;) In loving memory of Glenn Quinn (May 28, 1970 - Dec 3, 2002), the best Irish import since Guinness...well, aside from my Gramma, who was also born in Dublin and is likely up in heaven hitting on poor Glenn right now (yeah, sorry about that, bud - she's a feisty one). This tribute is an invitation for Glenn's family, friends, and fans to spend a few bittersweet moments recalling the warmth, humor, and charm he gave us during his entirely-too-brief life. Glenn was a wonderfully talented actor best known for his portrayals of: the gambling, alcoholic, yet oh-so-loveable half-demon, Allen Francis Doyle on 'Angel'; the reformed renegade-teen, Mark Healy on 'Roseanne'; and the adorable, skirt-chasing trickster, Cedric Grey on 'Covington Cross'. It is so hard to believe that in just a few weeks, it will have been seven years since Glenn's tragic and untimely death. Like so many of his fans, I did not learn of his passing until a great deal of time afterward. As I have a tendency to hold grudges (which was inherited from the Irish Gramma who is currently hitting on Glenn in heaven), I stopped watching Angel after the episode 'Hero' aired, vowing to hold out unless Doyle's character was brought back. Unfortunately, due to ...

1. Within The Lost World ~ Requiem For The Americas
PART 1 OF 11 • "A village, isolated in a hidden wooded valley, exists as it has for centuries. The children play while the villagers go about their daily tasks, fishing the river and hunting the forest and the plain. They live in harmony with themselves, the animals, and the Spirits of this Earth. The old shaman, Ilhala, wearing a cloak of black bear skin, sits at his crude loom and weaves a beautiful fabric. He looks down into the village from the sacred mountaintop where he lives. Animals and children gather around and watch his magical hands work, as he tells tales of their forefathers and sings the sacred songs of his people. His chanting echoes throughout the valley, and the animals and birds reply. Ihala is filled with great joy. Night falls. (From the Requiem For The Americas CD Booklet) LYRICS: Brothers of sun ascend Be amongst us Be there, not afraid... Sisters of moon ascend Be there, not afraid... As all my life ascended There the angels sang inside of me The more you realize the more you gain As though there's something living said There beyond the garden of the windows Rest upon the life Lay it on the line There lies the souls within the lost world Where memory is forgotten On the magic Horse of Fire And all the world's are locked in memory Caught within our apathy You get the picture not the story Honor your past Honor your life Honor the history of the ancients As every thought creates a backlash The senseless death The waste Should it be a mantra Should it ...
