The 2009 stereo remaster of The Night Before from HELP! without Leo mckern putting the dynamite in the cave John Lennon plays a Hohner Pianet electric piano throughout the song accompanied by mccartney's ascending and descending bass lines. Lennon and George Harrison sing harmony during the end of each verse and the chorus, singing "Aaah the night before...". After the second repeat of the refrain, Harrison plays a guitar solo and a portion of that solo reappears at the end of the song. In the film 'Help!', just as the song finishes, a mine is exploded, leading the audience to believe, briefly, that the Beatles have been blown up.
