Video Alone

John Popper & Chan Kinchala- Alone (Irving Plaza- 5 27 08)
After a set by Moonalice, Popper & Chan took the stage to play a few acoustic tunes at the Bill Graham Memorial Fund raiser Concert @ Irving Plaza. This was the first time Popper had played guitar in a year. This is how they did it in NYC back in the late 80s/early 90s at the likes of Nightingale, Mondo Perso, Mondo Cane, Wetlands and a few other venues that no longer exist. The third set would have a room dripping with sweat as Popper sang the sweet tunes like this one until the band kicked back in to rock it on out.
