I was right, I missed a verse.  Here's a corrected version.

Slideshow of the only live version of Abandoned Love at the other end club. (1975) BOBFANTOO commented: "Are you sure about the date of this performance (March 4, 1975)? According to Heylin's biography it should have happened in July." He's right. I realized my mistake later on but I decided to let it be and confess my mistake in the 'more info' section. I own the book he mentions and also met (read) the guy who recorded it. If you do a usenet search on 'Joe Kivak' in rec.music.dylan you'll find his own account of the night. He used to be a regular on the board. He ends his account with: "then the sun came up and it was now the fourth of july..."
