just a short homage to the bob dylan song "time passes slowly". can't help but think stephen stills was on her mind when she sang it. a great example of the early folk rock country mood that was beginning to take hold in popular music. this song was recorded in 1970. the steel guitar is reminiscent of another great 1970 album, tumbleweed connection by elton john, particularly the song country comfort.
