The guitars both repeat their parts, and the string section
adds these two measures over the E5 chord

The second time, guitar 2 plays this instead of the last measure,
and continues into the verse:

|---------------------------------------------------|-------|

Verse: (chords played by organ)
D A E
She comes to me at night when I'm sleeping
She comes to me when I'm alone
She comes to me She holds my head when I'm crying
She comes to me She shuts my eyes
She brings me home
Chorus:
Guitar 1 plays the same E5 A progression it did in the intro;
The string section plays the same thing it did in the intro;
Guitar 2 plays the same part it played in the intro, except that it
omits that first chord that swells up over the E5 chord, and it
replaces the last measure with:
|--4b(5)r4b(5)r4b(5)r4--|
|-----------------------|
|-----------------------|
|-----------------------|
|-----------------------|
|-----------------------|
E5 A E5
But I'm not sleeping anymore... anymore
Verse:
She tells me when you look at me She tells me when you're lying
She tells me when you talk about me She lays me on the floor
She tells me when you're whispering She lies beside me naked
She tells me when you laugh at me and she locks all the doors
* (w/ Fill 1, played by gtr. 2, first time only)
But I'm not sleeping anymore

Instead of the last measure of the repeat of the chorus, the song
moves into the bridge:
E5 E5maj7
|--------------------------|--------------------------|
|--------------------------|--------------------------|
|--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--|--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--8--| Both guitars
|--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--|--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--9--| play this
|--------------------------|--------------------------| 1 3/4 times
|--------------------------|--------------------------|
D5 A
|--------------------------|--0--0------|
|--------------------------|--2--2--5--|
|--7--7--7--7--7--7--7--7--|--2--2--6--|
|--7--7--7--7--7--7--7--7--|--2--2------|
|--------------------------|------------|
|--------------------------|------------|
The string section plays the high note of the first three chords,
and then plays a little G#-A trill over the A chord
E5 E5maj7
1-2-3-4-5-6-7 a.m.
All alone again
D A
But I've been through all this shit before
Spend my nights in self-defense
Cry about my innocence
But I ain't all that innocent anymore
Interlude:
After the third measure of the repeat, the song changes to this:
The timing is chaotic, to say the least, so listen carefully for
exactly when these notes are sounded. Guitar 2 plays the part tabbed
out, and guitar 1 just plays the chords indicated.
The strings play an E5 chord, just a high E and B note for the
next 5 measures.

From this point, until the end of the interlude, the string section
takes the notes from the D5add6 and Aadd9 chords and plays them
whenever guitar 1 isn't.

Round Here We Sacrifice (Counting Crows) -Fatal Frame
An amv of Fatal Frame 2, Crimson Butterfly, and Fatal Frame 2, The Tormented.
The Fatal Frame series is a series of horror games, so far out with three and the fourth coming right up. Of course the games are scary, but they are also elaborate and have beautiful story lines and even touching mini stories between all the different points of views of ghosts and other minor characters.
So instead of the horror in the games, the sense of danger and mystery, etc, I wanted to focus on the depressing fates the majority of the characters soon meet, especially the main characters and how much torment they seem to actually be part of.
step out the front door like a ghost into the fog where no one notices the
contrast of white on white.
and in between the moon and you the angels get a better view of the crumbling
difference between wrong and right.
i walk in the air, between the rain, through myself and back again where? i
don't know
maria says she's dying, through the door i hear her crying why? i don't know
round here we always stand up straight
round here something radiates
maria came from nashville with a suitcase in her hand she said she'd like to
meet a boy who looks like elvis.
she walks along the edge of where the ocean meets the land just like she's
walking on a wire in the circus.
she parks her car outside of my house and takes her clothes off, says she's
close to understanding Jesus.
she knows she's more than just a little misunderstood, she has trouble acting
normal when she's nervous.
round here we're carving out our names
round here we all look the same
round here we talk just like lions, but we sacrifice like lambs
round here she's slipping through my hands
oohhh sleeping children better run like the wind, out of the lightning dream
mama's little baby better get herself in out of the lightning
she says "it's only in my head."
she says "sshhh...i know it's only in my head."
but the girl on the car in the parking lot says: "man, you should try to take a
shot. can't you see my walls are crumblin?"
then she looks up at the building and says she's thinkin of jumping. she says
she's tired of life, she must be tired of something.
round here she's always on my mind
round here (hey man)i got lots of time
round here we're never sent to bed early and nobody makes us wait
round here we stay up very, very, very, very late.
i can't see nothing, nothing round here (oh)
won't you catch me if i'm falling?
won't you catch me if i'm falling?
won't you catch me cuz i'm falling down on you.
see i'm under the gun round here
oh man i said i'm under the gun round here
and i can't see nothing, nothing round here.
