Dr. dre to drop album next week Dr. Dre has recorded an album inspired by the movie Straight Outta Compton and fellow rapper Ice Cube stated that the record will drop Aug. 1. According to the film director F. Gary Gray, the album contains music from Dre featuring Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, and other artists. In an interview with Philadelphia's radio station Power 99 on Wednesday, Ice Cube confirmed that Dre's album will come out next week.  read all
