Golden Boulder Aged Ten (2004) Medley Experiments
Chris and Ellz getting experience of classic Rock and RnB in November 2004 after a fun year of gigs. Chris bought his first PRS guitar after saving a long time, and Now Layla, Hey Joe, and Darkness are easy ??? Well, getting there! This was one of the last times they played as a duo. Nick was soon to join on bass, and the gigs just got better and better - Hard Rock Cafe, Wembley Arena London - Yes Golden Boulder have played them - The latest: http://www.goldenboulder.org.uk or http://www.myspace.com/theboulderanthology - give em another big gig otherwise they'll drive me mad!

THE APPARITIONS - La Lucesita Se Apagó (Rock Chileno)
The Apparitions was a short-lived rock band of Chile formed in 1966 which perfomed mostly covers of Cream, Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones. They only recorded 4 singles but had a major influence in the rock scene of Chile late 60's. The guitar player, Eduardo Gatti was called the Chilean Eric Clapton and after the band separated he joined the band Blops, one of the best rock bands of Chile. After the Blops, he has had a successful solo career with many albums. Well, not much information about The Apparitions exists, but The major success of the band was a Spanish-spoken cover of Percy Sledge's "When a man loves a woman". However, this time I've done this video for my favorite song of The Apparitions, a Spanish-spoken cover of Bob Dylan's "It's all over now, baby Blue", one of my favorite all-times songs. As additional info, members of The Apparitions were: Eduardo Gatti - guitar Antonio Gubbins - guitar John Bauerle - voice / harmonic / tambourine George Sommerhoff - drums Phillip Milmine - bass This copy of the song has a strong pop in the beginning but it's still a good copy considering the original singles of The Apparitions are not so easy to find in good conditions... Enjoy this song, I hope you like the video and all comments are welcomed...

Hole In My Life by DREAMLAND
Watch this vid in higher quality here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UNOx-xcy0g&fmt=18 This is the B Side to The Dreamland single "Got To Be A Reason", this song is one which I was asked to write, produce and arrange for the band DREAMLAND. Lyrics Theres a hole in my life When I wake up in the mornin Theres a hole in my life Takes me right into the evenin Theres a hole in my life Theres a hole, theres a hole in my life When time comes it really comes And when it comes it always knows your name When time goes it really goes And when it goes it always stays the same Sometimes I regret When Im alone in my room I feel low Waitin for the moment when The feeling I had will let me go Theres a hole in my life When I wake up in the mornin Theres a hole in my life Takes me right into the evenin Theres a hole in my life Theres a hole , theres a hole in my life When she comes she really comes And when she comes she always plays the game When she goes she really goes And when she goes shes in her moods again Sometimes I regret When Im alone in my room I feel low Waitin for the moment when The feeling I had will let me go Theres a hole in my life When I wake up in the mornin Theres a hole in my life Takes me right into the evenin Theres a hole in my ...... Life was easy when I had no worries I thought I had it made Now Im older ...aint gettin younger I think of yesterday Sometimes I regret When Im alone in my room I feel low Waitin for the moment when The feeling I had will let me go Theres a hole in my life When I wake up in the mornin Theres a hole in my life Takes me right into the evenin Theres a hole in my life Theres a hole , theres a hole in my life In My Life In My Life Vocals A. Choudhary Bass Dice Ali Drums Ian Bamforth Acoustic & Electric Guitars JT Percussion and BV's Dave Whizzkid Sargent Produced and arranged by JT for Raw Groove Productions Written by JT with additional lyrics and melody by A Choudhary (c)2001 Allsongs(PRS)/Addictive Music (BMI) (p)2001 Glass Onion Records/S0NY Some Interesting notes on this recording: This was a very experimental track with a whole hotch- potch of ideas crammed in to it. Verse 1 was wriiten after a convo with The lead vocalist re a night demon who visited him. It looked like the grim reaper coming to get him. Verse 2 was relating to a moody ex girlfriend who I had just split up with. The chorus was originally about the huge gap in my life cos my dad was never around ( 5,ooo miles away most of the time !) The middle 8 was an attempt to create a Psychedelic cross between "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds" and "McArthur Park " (Old ,Old tunes, but classic moods and themes) Theres a string quartet on the fade out ( 4 girls on 2 violins, viola and cello !) The fade out was intended to include a type of "I am the walrus" cello riff and various (humble)guitar tributes in the styles of Bill Nelson, Mick Ronson, Dick Wagner,Eric Clapton (while my guitar gently weeps), and Hendrix ("watchtower" mandolin style guitar) And the actual fade was intended to be a bit reminiscent of the fade on Space Oddity.(The eternally upward slide guitar effect was achieved using the neck of a bottle of Jack Daniels, which we finished off to round off the session on the hottest day of the year July 2001. I think it turned out rather well in the end ! ("spine-tingling psychedlic alt-rock ") City Life Magazine 2001

Guitar solo (improvisation)
I've been playing guitar for about nine months now and I got hooked the first day i played. The guitar is just a great instrument and i love improvising with these backing tracks. im going to do a blues/shuffly style next so keep watching!
