Ghost hunting and lichen patterns on headstone Matlock Iowa
Myself and a friend check out Greenwood cemetery near Matlock, Iowa. Sorry but the camcorder has no night vision feature, consequently much of the video is darkness but I try to explain w/ subtitles what is going on. Interestingly, the trees have been arranged to form a cross at the center of which 5 additional trees equadistant from each other form a 5-pointed star. It's believed by some that the fungal moss called "lichen" that grows on headstones can occasionally take on the form of those buried in that spot. Not to say it's a legitimate belief, but on this night we found one stone in particular where the lichen took on the image of a standing woman in a dress- with enough detail it really surprised us. We didn't see anything else like it although we checked out various other stones. Built adjacent to a crossroads, Greenwood is frequented by people ouija boarding, drinking and the like. Rumors float around that it's haunted and one persistent but totally-disproven urban legend is that if you drive through it 3 times then place your car in park, your car will stall. Although many unfounded rumors abound, I've been there many times and haven't been to any other place where I have such an overwhelming feeling of being watched. There are probably purely benevolent reasons why the cemetery is laid out in the shape of a cross with a star in the center (bear in mind, this area of the US is considered the Bible belt). Borderlands- Headstone Mine Secret Chest
I'm going to apologize for the lagginess in the beginning, and it does get better later on. If you missed anything, it's obvious what it was that I jumped on. The video gets better later on. This is a guide on how to find a high-rarity chest at the very beginning of Headstone Mine. There's a much easier way to get there, but you can only use it in Multiplayer. I'll upload a video of it as soon as I can. And, believe it or not, I didn't steal this technique from anyone. I just found it while playing online with a buddy.
