Blowing Rock NC Theater Casting History for Stage Producer Director Mark Wilson and Tim Baxter (P2)
THEATER HISTORY: Original Blowing Rock Stage Company Founder and Theatre Producer Mark Wilson interviewed by veteran broadcaster Tim Baxter. Oscar Hammerstein said: "I think only people in the theatre know what a producer is. The public does not know. It knows a writer writes, and an actor acts, and a director tells them what to do. A producer raises money. Well, in some cases that's all he does. But the workers in the theatre know that this is not the real thing. A producer is a rare, paradoxical genius - hardheaded, soft-hearted, cautious, reckless, a hopeful innocent in fair weather, a stern pilot in stormy weather, a mathematician who prefers to ignore the laws of mathematics and trust intuition, an idealist, a realist, a practical dreamer, a sophisticated gambler, a stage struck child. That's a producer." Mark believed: "The greatest week of any year was the privilege of residence at Actors Equity, enjoying an ensemble of 500 - 700 performers auditioning, one by one. That meant meeting the most exciting, talented, brilliant, attractive, ebullient, focused, concentrated, best dressed, greatest gifted professional salespeople, on their best behavior at their best moment - one right after another, from 8 in the morning until 6 at night for five days. Brilliance and royalty - there is nothing sexier than talent." Whether from the open casting call in Backstage or through agency submissions from the breakdown service, Mark was treated to the best 3 to 5 minutes of the ...

Tarp Tent vs Wedge Tent rain evaluation
Both tents are considered Backpacking tents for two. I find them just fine for one. Who cares what I think. You be the judge. The Tarp tent is a Henry Shires at henry shires website. And the Wedge tent is manufactured by Eureka called the Backcountry II exclusively from Campmor NJ only. And you won't find it under tents. Even if they got every tent made on 5 pages. bet? No you have to type in the search engine on Campmor or go to their store in NJ. Because its their number one selling tent round here. And its been sold for over 20 years with the 7th generation already. I own both tents, so I tested them for real to. The Backcountry II I slept in over 400 days. Got three. The tarp tent seems to blow over in a gust like a hurricane or thunder showers and you got to get out and put rocks on the pegs if your not on solid rock, beach, yard, or some place you can't find rocks. Big ones to, and it still blows over and me and my gear are soaked. But it seem a good thing to have on the Appalachian trail as long as you sleep in town or the shelters cause you get $5 I think for each time you say tarp tent, tarp tent, tarp tent. And your in the group. The group that is always soaked or living it town spending money. So I usually can find someone that wants to carry say a ounce of cards and we can sit their with our ounce of cards and play cards. Saving well over $200 to the ones that spend the same time in town making noise and getting in trouble with the local Teasels. Since I know ...
But I Like Money
But I Like Money. The Rain Song
why worry - Dire Straits
Dire Straits were a British rock band, active between 1977 and 1995. The band was formed by Mark Knopfler (vocals and lead guitar), his younger brother David Knopfler (rhythm guitar and vocals), John Illsley (bass guitar and vocals), and Pick Withers (drums and percussion), and managed by Ed Bicknell. Although the band was formed in an era when punk rock was at the forefront, Dire Straits played a more conventional style, albeit with a stripped-down sound that appealed to audiences also weary of the overproduced stadium rock of the 1970s. In their early days, Mark and David requested that pub owners turn down their sound so that patrons could converse while the band played, an indication of their unassuming demeanor. Despite this oddly self-effacing approach to rock and roll, Dire Straits soon became hugely successful, with their first album going multi-platinum globally. Throughout Dire Straits' career Mark Knopfler was the songwriter and also the driving force behind the group. The band's best-known songs include "Sultans of Swing", "Romeo and Juliet", "Tunnel of Love", "Telegraph Road", "Private Investigations", "Money for Nothing", "Walk of Life", "So Far Away", "Brothers in Arms" and "Calling Elvis". Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler have sold in excess of 120 million albums to date. LYRICS: Baby I see this world has made you sad Some people can be bad The things they do, the things they say But baby Ill wipe away those bitter tears Ill chase away those restless fears ...
