VERSE:

    Am C G D
Now baby, what's the use of fighting?

By the last reel we'll be cryin', cryin', cryin'

VERSE:
If you really want to be my man
Get your nails out of my back
      Stop using me

VERSE:
You know I really, really want to be your friend
But just a little faith is all we need
I don't need no dog eat dog world for you and me
Get your nails out, stop bleeding me

BREAK:
You know, people tell me you are a vulture
Say you're a sore in a cancer culture
Ay, but you got a little charm around you
I'll be there when they finally hound you
      Hound you, hound you

VERSE:
If you really want to be my friend
And I really want to understand you baby
If you really want to be my friend
If you really want to understand me
I really want to be your man
I want to try to give you a helping hand

VERSE:
I really want to be your friend
I want to push you when you're up
And pull you when you're down
If you really want you to understand me
I'll tell you something, that love can thrive on jealousy

VERSE:
I really want to understand you
I really want to be your man
'Cause understanding is something everybody needs
I really want to be your friend
And I love you, love you, yes, I do

KEITH RICHARDS TRIBUTE IF YOU REALLY WANT TO BE MY FRIEND
it´s only rock and roll - if you really want to be my friend

"If you really want to be my friend"(The Rolling Stones)Lorenzino1'version
I was playing this song , since perhaps 10 days, when I take my guitar, I start by this one just cause I like it, like to play it ! So I've decided, as there's a long time that I've recorded this song, that I'll record with a 1968's Telecaster Thinline's sound ! Hope you'll enjoy !

"If you really want to be my friend"(The R.Stones)Lorenzino1
An electric version of this song, after having made an acoustic version! If I can permit myself to give an advice to the persons that wanna buy an amplifying, it's not to buy one; There's now amplified consols,(where you can plug 4 Jacks & 4 XLR,so 8 instruments if you buy the right Jacks (Jack/XLR) with 2 hps),of 30watts that coast the same price than a combo(or amplifying),but in a combo, you can plug maximum 2 guitars, or 1 guitar & 1 microphone! And more, with the 2 hps, it's like if you wanna compare a transistor with a stereo;with the combo, the sound comes from where the combo is,like a transistor, but with the 2 hps, the sound comes from "everywhere", like with your stereo! The one that I got coasted 350 euros, 2x85 watts with a good mark of hps(125 watts)! For our concerts, no need to bring many amplifyings for each instrument or near, just that "head" with 8 "inputs", the 2 hps and in cabarets, we don't need to put the volume more than level 3/10, everybody hears us all, and nobody have to shout to be heard!I've spoken with the music shop sailor who told me that now, since the day he had sailed the first one, he sails nearly only those amplified consols, sometimes to Rocks bands that needed to put a high volume before, and now, with a "small" level, it's enough to be heard! I say that cause with the one I use, for all I record in Youtube, I've NEVER put the volume more than 1/10;with acoustics guitars, it's OK, but with electrics guitars, I must take care of the ...

Rolling Stones - Till The Next Goodbye (Mickboy Remaster)
Till The Next Goodbye - 1974 Alternate Version 16:9 HD Clip 6000kbit/s / Audio 192kbit/s 48000Hz Mickboy's "Short And Curlies" 2001 Remaster January 14 - 31, 1974 Musicland Studios Munich, Germany The Glimmer Twins - Producers Keith Harwood & Andy Johns - Engineers Probable Line-Up: Mick Jagger - Lead Vocal Jagger, Richards & Taylor - Backing Vocals Jagger, Richards & Taylor - Acoustic Guitars Mick Taylor - Slide Electric Guitar Charlie Watts - Drums Bill Wyman - Bass Nicky Hopkins - Piano Credited to Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, and uncredited to Mick Taylor, recording on "Till The Next Goodbye" began at Munich's Musicland Studios in November 1973. The song is a traditional ballad from the Stones' middle period, with slight country music influences. It opens with an acoustic guitar performance which leads into Jagger's performance. The lyrics deal with the "illicit meetings between two lovers" In his review of the song, Bill Janovitz says, "In the mid-'70s, a 42nd Street movie theater would have been a place of questionable repute and not a very romantic rendezvous. The lyric is unexpectedly complex; the point of view, Jagger as narrator, speaks to the mistress apologetically and with a guilty conscience... In one line on the bridge, Jagger manages to convey empathy, culpability, and frustration: 'I can't go on like this/Can you? Can you?' On paper it seems clear, the narrator is asking out of the relationship (paraphrasing): "I can't do this, can you?" But the way ...

The Rolling Stones: Stray Cat Blues - Beggars Banquet w/ Lyrics
Track 8 off "Beggars Banquet". Lyrics: I hear the click-clack of your feet on the stairs I know you're no scare-eyed honey. There'll be a feast if you just come upstairs But it's no hanging matter It's no capital crime I can see that you're fifteen years old No I don't want your ID I can see you're so far from home But it's no hanging matter It's no capital crime Oh yeah, you're a strange stray cat Oh yeah, don'tcha scratch like that Oh yeah, you're a strange stray cat Bet your mama don't know you scream like that I bet your mother don't know you can spit like that. You look so weird and you're so far from home But you don't really miss your mother Don't look so scared I'm no mad-brained bear But it's no hanging matter It's no capital crime Oh, yeah Woo! I bet your mama don't know that you scatch like that I bet she don't know you can bite like that. You say you got a friend, that she's wilder than you Why don't you bring her upstairs If she's so wild then she can join in too It's no hanging matter It's no capital crime Oh yeah, you're a strange stray cat Oh yeah, don'tcha scratch like that Oh yeah, you're a strange stray cat I bet you mama don't know you can bite like that I'll bet she never saw you scratch my back © 2010 I donot own this band or song in any way.
